My IRL name is Jenn, but most people know me as Adoree.
I gave myself that name when I started playing World of Warcraft in 2008. I made my first toon when I started the trial out, and named the little gnome mage NoobJenn. After playing through a few levels, I decided that WoW was the game for me. I started looking up new player guides, and my handy book that came with the boxed set I bought.
In that book, they told you to pick your toons name carefully. They explained that people would call you by that name for as long as you played the game. They also said healers were in demand and great to play if you wanted to make friends.
I deleted that little gnome mage, and made my priest healer Adoree. I think I picked the name off a baby name website that had medieval names on it. I liked it because it was different but not too different.
I’ve now been playing my priest as my main for 6 years. Over my time of playing WoW, I’ve played a mage, paladin, and druid to max level. I’ve been on Dragonblight, Darkspear, Malygos, and Lightbringer. I’ve raided, Arena’d, RBG’d, explored all over and made many, many friends. I help run a monthly WoW meetup group. People may say it’s a silly game, but I love it.
Outside of WoW, I play some Starcraft, Diablo and Hearthstone. I like to play Minecraft too. I also like to play Just Dance and Rock Band on the Wii. Sometimes I’ll play the Lego games on the Ps3, but I’m not as good as my kids are.
IRL- I’m a homeschooling Mom of 4, who loves Theme parks and video games. I hate cooking but like to bake. My favorite color is blue.
I look forward to meeting you too.
